About Mrs. Stanton

​I grew up in Tarkio, Missouri where I was raised on a farm. After graduating from Tarkio High School, I attended Northwest Missouri State University and received my teaching degree in Elementary Education and concentration area in Language Arts in April 2012. I graduated with my Master’s Degree in Reading through Northwest Missouri State University in December 2016. This will be my seventh year teaching. Before coming to Rock Port, I taught third grade for three years at Mound City Elementary and I also taught fifth grade for three years at Lindbergh Elementary in the Saint Joseph School District. My husband, Jay, is currently a physical therapist at Fairfax Community Hospital. We have two boys, Cass and Collin. We also have a Charcoal Lab, Meric.
​Jay and I live in Rock Port.
